TO FIND THE HOUSE :

From Perpignan Airport:-

Follow the signs for Autoroute A9-E15 To BARCELONA …….the road takes you part-way into Perpignan before eventually joining the motorway south of Perpignan (junction 42)

Continue south on motorway as far as exit marked "LE BOULOU" (junction 43).

After paying small toll at the "peage"(80 cents) continue a short distance to roundabout , take first exit - > CERET (D115). Cross over another roundabout.

Continue about 1mile to St JEAN PLA-DE-CORTS where you turn left at first roundabout to MAUREILLAS. This somewhat meandering road continues 2-3miles until it meets the D618 Maureillas - Ceret road. Turn right towards CERET.

Continue for approx 2miles , look out for large cemetery on left (behind high wall) just before the Ceret sign. Immediately after the cemetery, on the left a sign points to LES HAUTS DE CERET. Follow this road a short way to a small roundabout (CARE - traffic approaches from right unexpectedly). Bear left at this roundabout & continue uphill. The hill becomes steeper with a number of hairpin bends. 3/4 way up the hill, the road divides into 3, take the left of the 3 roads, continue uphill. Continue straight on passing a turning on your left and another on your right. After a further 100-200 yards the road divides. Turn right here & follow this road a further 300-400 yards . We are the last-but-one house on the left. Gates only are visible, looks for a "Gecko" painted on the wall!

Gates may be locked, unlock with appropriate key & drive in.

From Barcelona or Gerona Airports :-

Take the motorway A7 - E15 north, continue as far as the French/Spanish border & leave the motorway at the first exit on entering France. This will be "LE BOULOU". From Le Boulou proceed as described above to St Jean Pla-de-Corts & then to Ceret.
